Life here
A week with a shape to it.
Our residents do best with a rhythm: the same meal times, a quiet start to each morning, something to do every afternoon, and plenty of room for fun.

Every month
Something to look forward to.
Each month brings a Big Event, with the week's Lunch & Learn sessions building up to it, plus a quarterly outing and every birthday marked on the calendar. This year so far: Chuck E. Cheese, a picnic in the park, a Chinese lunch buffet, an Island Party, Sports Day, outdoor grilling, pizza making for Father’s Day and a Mother’s Day celebration.
Coming up this month: Fall Bingo.
Every week
A small surprise.
Our residents are food lovers at heart. Each week brings something unexpected: root beer floats (a resident favorite), a Moroccan rose drink, iced coffee, ice pops or ice cream.
In Anchal's words
The small things we see.
A quiet woman who rarely spoke her first few months with us found her voice in bracelet making. Now she makes and sells her own.
Music runs deep here. A couple of residents play guitar, and when someone picks one up and strikes a chord, the whole room comes together. So many residents love music that we're building a resident chorus, our newest project.
Our residents are true foodies. Mealtimes are some of the liveliest moments of the day, and a new dish, or a root beer float on surprise day, gets talked about long after the plates are cleared.
One resident keeps an eye on the fence line, another waters the plants, another helps carry the bins out and back in. Nobody asked them to. They just did.
